The buffet dinner was delicious and there was enough so that our guests could go for seconds if they wanted. One less thing to do the day of the funeral. We were also able to drop off the seating chart and pictures of our parents the day before our event (Fairview provided the easels). This was an afternoon event (no mood lighting) but it still had an elegant feel to it. Appetizers were fabulous (I highly recommend the Ahi Tuna Tartar). When we arrived, all the appetizers and the bar service were ready and our guests were able to enjoy them right away. By the time we got to Fairview, everyone was pretty hungry. The funeral services took almost 3 hours. We decided on appetizers, bar service and buffet dinner for 150 guests.

This reception was held right after the church and burial services. With her assistance, we were able to customize a package that truly honored our parents' memory. She had so many helpful suggestions and was a true joy to work with. However, Angela Muse (our event director) made the process so effortless. Event planning is ultra stressful and the pandemic just added to the mix. We held our parents' Celebration of Life at Fairview Metropolitan on July 30, 2021. This review is in regards to the COL, however we believe the expertise and quality service provided by Fairview would apply to any event and/or function. We were so pleased with our experience with the Fairview staff and the event itself (absolute perfection), we decided to hold our parents’ Celebration of Life here. Our daughter had her wedding and reception here at Fairview Metropolitan back in 2017 (review Barbara M). Bride, married June 2022 - November 13th, 2021. She listens to our needs and offers guiding and suggestions that are exactly what we need. Sayra P., married November 2022 - June, 2022 -Īngela, our Event Director, was extremely helpful and organized.

I thought our big day would be nice but it exceeded my expectations. All the guests were delighted and surprised by the organization and formality of the venue. I am very grateful to the coordinator Anavennesa, she did an excellent job.
